Apply for a JELF Interest-Free Loan for Higher Education Beginning March 1!
Applications for interest-free loans for higher education (college, graduate school and vocational programs) are available to Jewish students in your area for the 2017-2018 school year from JELF (Jewish Educational Loan Fund).
From March 1 – April 30 (and from September 1 – September 30), the loan application is available on JELF’s website at jelf.org.
JELF loans are need-based and offer “last-dollar” financing, meaning that JELF provides the final dollars that bridge the gap between a student’s total financial resources and the cost of attending school.

For the last three years we have allotted one scholarship to the direct descendant of a Lodge member and one to a student in the schools of the Triangle. This year we are hoping to involve more students in the selection process and would like to include Vernon Malone College & Career Academy among them. Our lodge will provide a $750 scholarship to the student who satisfies the following criteria:
The student who is chosen will be invited with his or her family to attend the Lodge Family Picnic on June 3, 2018 to receive the award presented by the Lodge Council President.
Established in 2017 by the Brown Family, The Raleigh-Wake Chapter of the NCCU Alumni Association honors the legacy of Muriel Brown, a retired WCPSS teacher in Early Childhood Education, NCCU alumni, and Raleigh-Wake Alumni Chapter Member.

Each year the State Employees Association of North Carolina (SEANC) Scholarship Foundation, Inc. offers academic scholarships to dependents of SEANC members. The SEANC district number to which you are eligible to apply is located on the SEANC membership card.
