WKU has recently made some revisions to its Tuition Incentive Program, which will positively impact residents of Wake County. The Tuition Incentive Program (TIP) alllows residents of certain counties in states other than Kentucky to attend WKU for nearly half of the non-resident rate. Wake County students enrolling in WKU at the start of the Summer 2016 Term and beyond will automatically receive the new TIP rate, allowing them to pursue their education at WKU for a significant reduction in cost. There is no separate application to fill out; a student's TIP eligibility is based entirely on his/her county of residence at the time that they apply to WKU.
You can read more about this at www.wku.edu/admissions/tip.php.
You can also learn more about scholarships at WKU by visiting www.wku.edu/scholarship.
