The Raleigh Engineer’s Club is now accepting applications for the 2017 Raleigh Engineer’s Club scholarship. The Club seeks to promote the Engineering field through monthly technical meetings and support of those pursuing a future in the Engineering discipline. Our members have a diverse background of Engineering disciplines and represent several companies located in the Raleigh area.
One of the most rewarding civic responsibilities of the Club is to provide a scholarship to a current Wake County Public High School Senior who has been accepted into the College of Engineering at NC State University. The scholarship is valued at one semester of tuition at the in-state tuition rate.
The winner will be selected from a pool of candidates consisting of students from all of the Wake County Public High Schools who meet the scholarship criteria and submit a completed application.

The Elmer Gentry Technology Scholarship is available to high school seniors who will maintain full time status at a nationally accredited post-secondary four- year institution with a major in an area of technology including computers, IT, engineering, and other related areas. The scholarship minimum is $500.00.

After selections have been made, winning individuals will be contacted by the Scholarship Committee. The winners will be presented their scholarship checks at the June 27, 2017 membership luncheon meeting of the Fort Bragg SAME Post.
