Foundation scholarships make pursuing an education affordable for many and enable Wake Tech to attract and retain talented students. Scholarships may be earmarked to assist diploma, certificate, or associate degree students in any curriculum program; and may be based on financial need or academic merit according to donor preference. Donors may establish an endowment or fund a scholarship annually to acknowledge student needs or accomplishments, honor or memorialize someone, or create a corporate presence at Wake Tech.
Applications for 2017-2018 scholarship awards will be accepted between March 1st and April 30th!

Morehead-Cain was the first merit-based scholarship program established in the United States. At Morehead-Cain, scholars are chosen based on four criteria: Leadership, Moral Force of Character, Scholarship, and Physical Vigor. In each high school senior class, there are a select few who embody these criteria and set a higher standard for the school community. Nominated students demonstrate the following attributes:

Each year the State Employees Association of North Carolina (SEANC) Scholarship Foundation, Inc. offers academic scholarships to dependents of SEANC members. The SEANC district number to which you are eligible to apply is located on the SEANC membership card. Application available online at http://www.seanc.org/membership/scholarship/ and must be returned completed to the Scholarship Chairperson of the SEANC district of which the parent is a member.
