Each year the State Employees Association of North Carolina (SEANC) Scholarship Foundation, Inc. offers academic scholarships to dependents of SEANC members. The SEANC district number to which you are eligible to apply is located on the SEANC membership card. The Cary Woman's Club is a chapter of the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GWFC). Each year the club awards a graduating high school senior(s) with a scholarship towards further education. For 2018 one $2,500.00 scholarship shall be given. An application form may be found on our website at http://carywomansclub.org.

Scholarship money will be paid directly to the recipient's chosen accredited North Carolina University or college.

Morehead-Cain was the first merit-based scholarship program established in the United States. At Morehead-Cain, scholars are chosen based on four criteria: Leadership, Moral Force of Character, Scholarship, and Physical Vigor. In each high school senior class, there are a select few who embody these criteria and set a higher standard for the school community.

Foundation scholarships make pursuing an education affordable for many and enable Wake Tech to attract and retain talented students. Scholarships may be earmarked to assist diploma, certificate, or associate degree students in any curriculum program; and may be based on financial need or academic merit according to donor preference. Donors may establish an endowment or fund a scholarship annually to acknowledge student needs or accomplishments, honor or memorialize someone, or create a corporate presence at Wake Tech.
Applications for 2017-2018 scholarship awards will be accepted between March 1st and April 30th!
