The State Employees' Credit Union established the "People Helping People" scholarship program to assist North Carolina public high school students attend college. The State Employees' Credit Union (SECU) Foundation takes an active role in assisting communities across North Carolina and truly belives in "people helping people."
Preference given to:
Scholarship recipients may not be a director, employee, or family member of a director or employee of SECU or the SECU Foundation, or a family member of a member of the scholarship selection committee.

The Exceptional Children’s Assistance Center (ECAC) is proud to offer the Matthew C. Graziadei Achievement Scholarship Award to a North Carolina high school senior with a disability. This award includes a $1,500 scholarship, to be used for any post high school learning experience/training or for equipment/technology needed for employment.

Students desiring to be considered for a Florence Kidder Memorial Scholarship must have the following material completed and postmarked or uploaded online by 11:59pm on deadline.
1. A completed application, answering all questions.
2. A separate listing of extracurricular activities, honors, community work and work experience.
3. A current photograph.
4. An unofficial transcript of grades, including first semester senior courses if possible and current GPA.
5. A letter of recommendation from one of the student’s teachers (scanned and in pdf format if done online).
6. Original essay of 500 to 700 words on this year’s topic (see attachments)
The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of merit of the individual essay (75%), scholarship and character (20%), and need (5%).
