The A&F Scholarships are available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any accredited post secondary institution.
To apply for this scholarship you will need to write an essay on the topic below. The essay should be between 500 and 1000 words.
Topic: Describe your educational career and life goals. Explain your plan for achieving these goals. Include your degree/major, why you selected it, and how this degree/major will help you achieve your goals.

Alpha Psi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. hosts a Debutante Program tradition which seeks to promote an enriching program to include dynamic educational, cultural, and social activities and to provide scholarships to aid in the educational goals of young women.
The program seeks 11th and 12th grade young woman who have a demonstrated track record of service in their schools and community.

Wake Electric is sponsoring a one-week, all expenses paid trip to Washington, D.C. for the 2019 Youth Tour running from June 15 – 21, 2019. Winners must go on the Washington Trip to be eligible for the $1,000 scholarship.
Winners also receive a $1,000 scholarship for use at a North Carolina college or university, community college, vocational or technical school.
The Trip: Students who attend the Youth Tour will join 1,500 high school students from across the U.S. to learn about electric cooperatives, American history, and the U.S. government. Students will also visit the historic sites and federal facilities of the nation’s capital, as well as spend time with their congressional delegations.
The Scholarship: The $1,000 scholarship will be awarded the following year upon proof of enrollment in a North Carolina college or university.
The deadline to apply is December 12, 2018 by 5:00 p.m. The application must be in our office by the deadline. Applicants will be notified of their status in mid-January, 2019.

This scholarship program was created in 1995 to recognize students in middle level and high school grades who have made meaningful contributions to their communities through volunteer service. These prestigious awards, sponsored by Prudential Financial in partnership with the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP), are presented annually on the local, state and national levels.
Interested students should submit completed applications to their school, or the head of one of the following local organizations: a Girl Scout council, county 4-H organization, American Red Cross chapter, YMCA, or affiliate of HandsOn Network. Applications and their parents or guardians also must complete the applications form's signature page.
Completed applications are due no later than November 6.
BBB Torch Scholarships recognize students who personify high ethics as demonstrated through leadership, community service, overall personal integrity and academic history.
