Each year the State Employees Association of North Carolina (SEANC) Scholarship Foundation, Inc. offers academic scholarships to the dependents of SEANC members.
Only SEANC members in good standing, their spouses and/or dependent child(ren) are eligible to receive scholarships. Membership in teachers’ organizations or the State Employees’ Credit Union (SECU) does not constitute eligibility for a SEANC Foundation Scholarship.

All applications must be postmarked by April 15.
If you have a student who is interested in applying for a scholarship, but whose parent is not a member of SEANC, please direct them to www.seanc.org to join. The parent must be a state or local government employee or retired state employee to join. Membership dues must be paid current prior to April 15.
Financial need applicants must include a copy of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and Student Aid Report (SAR) Summary without an asterisk.
The student must be enrolled as a full-time student for the upcoming school year.
