The Fort Bragg Post of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) again has college scholarships it will award. The total scholarship fund for 2019 is estimated at $12,000. Scholarships will be awarded to the most deserving applicants based on academic achievement, participation in extracurricular
activities, and their desire to pursue an engineering-based degree in college.
The amount of the scholarship award will be based on the merits of the applicant. All other awards are one-time awards.
After selections have been made, winning individuals will be contacted by the Scholarship Committee. The winners will be presented their scholarship checks at the June 25, 2019 membership luncheon meeting of the Fort Bragg SAME Post.
